Description

The E8 Series entered service in March 2024 as the new train for Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa services. It combines the high-speed mini-shinkansen format with Yamagata-inspired purple, yellow and white colouring, and includes practical updates such as luggage space in every car and increased wheelchair space.

This 3-car basic set is the entry point for the KATO E8 Series. Combine it with 10-2052, the matching 4-car add-on set, to create the full 7-car G3 formation.
