Description
The E259 Series, which debuted in 2009 as the second generation of the "Narita Express" service connecting the Tokyo metropolitan area with Narita Airport, has undergone a gradual redesign in 2023, taking into account the changing needs of its users, under the concept of "evolution as a new E259 Series." The new E259 Series features a silver-based color scheme on the front and sides of the lead car, reflecting the various situations in which the train is used and the ever-changing scenery along the line. Starting in 2024, the E259 Series will begin operation on the Sobu Main Line's "Shiosai" Limited Express, and the aircraft logo on the side of the lead car will be removed. A
new front connecting door is included, allowing you to recreate the appearance of the two lead cars coupled together. Enjoy the realistic coupling scene with ease.
This model recreates the appearance of the basic set (3 cars) with the aircraft markings and "N'EX" logo removed from the sides of both lead cars. In addition, we will update the destination display stickers to reflect the current status of the actual vehicles.
