As I sit down to write this I'm left with mixed feelings about some organisations social media postings/emails in response to recent events. We all need to inwardly acknowledge such an important piece of news, but somehow it all seems a bit undignified - quite unlike HM. I'll just leave you with this picture of a different royal to reflect on...

In other news, last week we announced a partnership with the Rail Riders Club. If you haven't come across them before do take a look. Membership benefits include a decent magazine as well as discounts to a wide range of railway related shops, businesses and attractions including 7.5% off at Train Trax.
The newest Swiss RhB items arrived a few weeks ago. They sold out quickly but I have now managed to re-stock from a different supplier - locomotives, containers and wagons are all available for the moment. Again, I'll quote a review of the wagons, they are "brilliant product very well detailed, smooth running, look very nice with container loaded". Other recent arrivals are listed below.
I'm still offering 5% discount to anyone who leaves a product review on the website. I've been making other improvements to the speed and usability of the website. Do let me know if you have any problems. In the case of password troubles, just use the Lost password function if you have difficulties logging in. Some people (only a very small minority) have reported trouble using Paypal. if you do have trouble then please do try again with the 'Credit Card (Stripe)' option. Stripe is our preferred high security payment provider, which often works better than Paypal.
At the beginning of the month, Latest KATO Japan announcements came out for items being delivered in January-March next year. I'm excited by the return of the Glacier Express, and the OO-9 Prince and Princess in Green. I've opened pre-orders for these and the Japanese 'Taki 1000' and '485' on the website, but if anything else on either of the two KATO 'posters' takes your fancy please let me know and I'll get them in at TrainTrax's normal discounted pricing. Some prices may be tweaked due to currency variations between now and release - I'll be in touch to confirm if anything changes by more than £5.
I hope all my customers agree that Train Trax offers the best pricing on KATO products in the UK, whilst also offering the best service. A quick reminder that if you can find it cheaper, in stock in the UK, I'll happily match that price.
