To wish you a Signal-ly Happy Christmas c. 1887 - c.1915
I found myself going down an internet rabbit-hole and discovered this wonderful image on the New Zealand Archives Flickr site. [From a collection of 'Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot' scrapbook of cards, photographs, newspaper clippings and card greetings for Christmas/New Year from various railway stations in New Zealand.]

I like the sentiment and thought I’d share it with you all as a Christmas greeting.

To wish you a signal-ly Happy Christmas
May you never be blocked by a Danger Signal
but always find a Bright Light Ahead
giving you
a Straight and Clear Run
to Prosperity in the New Year.
