Description
HO gauge KATO H5 Series Hokkaido Shinkansen in JR Hokkaido Hayabusa livery.
The H5 Series entered service in 2016 as JR Hokkaido's first Shinkansen train. It is based on the JR East E5 Series but carries Hokkaido-specific details, including the Saika Purple stripe and side emblems inspired by Hokkaido and the gyrfalcon.
These sets allow the train to be built up from a shorter formation to a full 10-car H5 Series formation by combining the basic set with the 2-car and 4-car add-on sets.
