Description
The 14 Series passenger coaches were introduced in 1972, offering limited-express style accommodation with simple reclining seats and heat-absorbing glass in the passenger windows. They worked widely on special limited express services, group trains and express trains across Honshu and Kyushu.
This Suhafu 14 brake coach is suitable for JNR-era 14 Series passenger formations from around 1978-1980. It can be used with matching 14 Series coaches and JNR locomotives such as ED75 0 late type and EF65 1000 early type.
