KOKI 107 (without JRF Mark, with Tail Light) Unloaded

The KOKI 107 was completed as a general-purpose container vehicle that was an improved version of the KOKI 106.The brake system was changed to a unit brake system similar to the KOKI 200, and the hand brake was located on the deck handrail. The underframe is painted in the same gray color as Koki 106.
It is mainly used for high-speed freight on main lines, and the maximum speed is 100km/h when the train weighs 1,300t (26-car train), and 110km/h when the train weighs less than 1,200t (24-car train). I am.
Various containers can be loaded, from standard 12ft containers to marine containers and tank containers. It is mainly used for high-speed cargo on trunk lines, and continues to be widely used on the Tokaido/Sanyo Main Line, Tohoku Main Line - Hokkaido, and Japan Sea Jukan Line.
The Koki 107, which has a taillight, is mainly used in Hokkaido, the Japan Sea Jukan Line, and the Tohoku Main Line, and can be seen in other areas during the snowy season.
In recent years, the JRF mark on the side of the vehicle has been removed, giving way to a simpler exterior.
