Prototype
Rail freight transport on each Rhaetian Railway line is an integral part of the lives of citizens who transport food, beverages and mail in the rugged mountainous regions of the Swiss Alps. Among them, the COOP refrigerated container, which is popular for its various design variations, and the container of Swiss Post, a state-owned company responsible for the Swiss postal business, are items that symbolize the lives of citizens found throughout Switzerland. You can see it being transported on a daily basis. Both Lb-v and Sb-t containers can be loaded.
The prototype reproduces the appearance of recent years seen in both freight cars and containers after 2012.
Model
These COOP refrigerated containers reproduce the characteristic design with vegetables and fruits. This wagon will fit with the following items to create a realistic rake:
- 10-1731 - RhB COOP and Swiss Post Wagon (Set of 8)
- 8201 - COOP Container Wagon
- 23-590A - Set of 2 COOP Containers
- 23-591A - Set of 2 Swiss Post Containers
It has now been clarified by KATO that this item does not include containers, it is an 'unloaded' wagon.

What a brilliant product very well detailed, smooth running, look very nice with container loaded, These are right up to date and can be observed on the RhB.ch official website in the RB /livestream section, I have observed a strange combination recently of a GE4/4III loco propelling an 8 car set and trailing 3 of these container wagons (loaded)
