Description
The E353 series, which began commercial operation in December 2017, is the successor to the E257 and E351 series, which were previously used on the Azusa and Kaiji trains. Its main feature is that it uses an air spring type car body tilting device and has the same curve passing performance as the E351 series. The Alpine White car body with the Azusa Violet stripe is a simple and powerful design that exudes a sense of speed, and truly symbolizes the next generation of limited express trains. It is currently in service on the Azusa, Kaiji, and Fuji Kaiyu trains.
Equipped with KATO's original car body tilting mechanism, you can enjoy realistic curve passing scenes that are close to the real thing.
This basic set may be supplemented with the 10-1835 and 10-1836 auxiliary/add-on sets.
