Description
The red Koki 200, which specializes in transporting 20ft and 40ft containers, is a container wagon of JR Freight that appeared in 2000. Manufactured for the modernization of chemical product transportation and for transportation of tank containers of marine container standards, it is possible to load two 20ft containers or one 40ft container, boasting a maximum load of 48t and a maximum speed of 110km. In addition, since it is compatible with marine containers, the total length of the car body is 15m, which is shorter than before.
Unlike the Koki 100 series, it features a short car length and bright red paint, making it stand out from other container freight cars. In recent years, the JRF mark has been removed.
