Description
●The 209-500 series was first introduced on the Chuo-Sobu local line in 1998. It features a wider body than the previous 209 series in order to increase transportation capacity. A total of four trains were transferred to the Keiyo line in 2008, but in 2010 the successor E233-5000 series was introduced, three trains were transferred to the Musashino line, and the remaining one is still in service on the Keiyo line after undergoing equipment renewal work.
◆The 34th train of the 209-500 series, which has been in service the longest on the Keiyo line, is now available in N gauge. You can enjoy it together with the E233-5000 series that runs on the same line and various other vehicles that you will encounter on the Uchibo Line and Sotobo Line.
