Description

This KATO 8-car set recreates part of the Seino Transportation 'Kangaroo Liner SS60', a JR Freight block container train introduced in 2018. The real SS60 links the Osaka area with Koriyama Freight Terminal and Sendai Port, using a mix of dedicated Seino containers and general container traffic.

The set focuses on the distinctive Koki 102 and Koki 103 container wagons, which operate as 4-car units, together with Seino U54A containers. Two sets plus additional Koki 100-series wagons can be used to build a much longer, more realistic Kangaroo Liner formation.
