The 225 series is the latest type used for new rapid trains, and has undergone repeated minor changes depending on the production period until today. The 225 series (third generation car) is a group of 100 series that has been expanded since 2020, and the leading shape has been unified among manufacturers and free space has been installed in all vehicles. In addition, the 700 series is a vehicle that was introduced to increase the number of paid seat services connected to some new rapid trains called "A seat", and has the same front shape as the 225 series 100 series, but It is characterized by having a cross-seat interior and a body with two doors that open on one side.
The latest 225 series 100 series and 700 series are now available in the <New Rapid> lineup that connects Keihanshin. We will simultaneously release a 4-car set including the newly manufactured 225 series 700 series exclusively for "A seat" and an 8-car set of 3rd edition cars.
