Description
- The HB-E300 series "Hinabi" was named with the hope that people would have a "warm and relaxed journey" based on the concept of "the nature of northern Tohoku" and "regional connections". The exterior is designed to express the image of a train connecting regions and the rich nature, with the commonly known "Morioka color" of a white base with red lines, which is widely used for diesel railcars in the Morioka branch office area. It debuted in December 2023 and is active in both Aomori and Iwate prefectures.
â—† A new tourist train that has begun to play an active role in the Tohoku region is already available in N gauge. It is a two-car set that is suitable for driving on a small layout, and can be enjoyed together with various 701 series and existing HB-E300 series.
