Description

The E8 Series entered service on the Yamagata Shinkansen in 2024 as the new generation of 'Tsubasa' trains. The design follows the Yamagata identity with purple, yellow and white colours, plus the distinctive arrow-shaped front end and shoulder-mounted headlights.

This 4-car add-on set is designed to extend the matching E8 Series basic set to a full 7-car formation. It does not include a motor, so the basic set is required for powered operation.
