Description
- The Hoki 2000 is a privately owned hopper freight car for transporting crushed stone owned by Yabashi Kogyo that appeared in 2011. Starting from Yabashi Kogyo at Otomezaka Station on the Seino Railway, it is used to transport limestone, the raw material, to Nippon Steel's factory via the JR Tokaido Main Line from Mino-Akasaka Station, and the Nagoya Rinkai Railway from Kasadera Station. 54 cars will be introduced by 2023, and a maximum of 24 cars will be operated.
â—† You can enjoy the limestone transport train famous as the "Red Hoki" in the Nagoya area. The EF64 1000 (3024-3), which serves the JR section as a towing engine, and the ND552 (10-1824), which serves the Nagoya Rinkai Railway section, are also scheduled to be released at the same time.
