Description

The E500 class is the first Japanese-built electric locomotive type to enter service in Taiwan. Taiwan Railway ordered the type to replace older electric locomotives used on passenger and freight work, including trains formed with E1000-series PP Tze-Chiang Limited Express coaches.

This KATO two-car set represents the modern E500 electric locomotive and is designed to pair with the matching Taiwan Railway PP Tze-Chiang coach sets.
