Important

This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function. For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a separate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.

If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

You may see the item marked in stock on my website, this merely indicates I have pre-ordered sufficient stock to fulfil your order.

Non UK Customers: UK VAT will be automatically deducted from your invoice, you will however be liable for any taxes in your country.

- In October 1969, with the opening of the Seibu Chichibu Line, Seibu Railway built the E851 type F-class (6-axle power) electric locomotive, the first of its kind on a private railway, to transport cement from the Chichibu region in parallel with passenger transport. Mitsubishi Mining and Cement also built a new Taki 1900 type tank freight car and a Teki 401 type bogie covered freight car, and began freight transport. The cement train was operated between Higashiyokoze (freight station) where Mitsubishi Mining and Cement is located, between Kokubunji and Ikebukuro, and after the opening of the JNR Musashino Line in 1973, it was operated between Higashiyokoze and Shin-Akatsu. Due to the continuous gradient of 25‰ (per mille) between Higashiyokoze and Ashigakubo, it was necessary to use the E851 type, the largest and strongest of private railways, to pull a 1000t-class freight train loaded with cement, and we were able to see full-scale freight transport on mountainous routes.

◆We will reproduce the cement transport train that was active on the Seibu Chichibu Line, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary since its opening. You can enjoy the scenery of the old Seibu Line together with the 〈10-1358 Seibu Railway 101 Series <Early Model> New Paint〉 and 〈10-1359 Seibu Railway 5000 Series <Red Arrow>〉, which will be released at the same time.
In addition, by collecting two sets of this product, you can reproduce the full formation of E851 type double-headed traction.
