All Unitrack points come fitted with the point motor built into the base of the point.
Unlike other track systems the point motors work on a 2 wire 12 volts dc voltage and needs a 24-840 point switch to work properly.
The point lead-cable can be extended by using 24-841 90cm (35") extension lead.
All Unitrack points can be operated manually, by the sliding switch next to the point blades.
Unitrack #4 points are 124mm long & have track centres of either 33mm, 49.5mm or 66mm depending on how you set them up.

A really good alternative to Peco turnouts. I find these Kato electric turnouts far more reliable. If a train derails going through these it’ll be due to a wonky wheel on the train rather than the points themselves. Highly recommended.

I have a mix of Kato and Peco turnouts on my layout. If geometry would allow I would always choose Kato. They are very reliable. The solenoid is conveniently and discretely built in to the turnout and works faultlessly and quietly. Very simple to wire and can be operated with a DCC controller. Highly recommend
