The product is designed for use in Kato 'DCC friendly' trains and is a breeze to install.
Simply remove the underside cover, disconnect the required wheel truck, and slide the decoder into place, insuring the correct orientation.
I have also used these decoders in older trains that do not have a suitably designed slot, with a little care and imagination, the contacts can be modified and wired to almost any other 12v Motor.
The item was well packaged and was dispatched swiftly.
