Description
The ED75 appeared in 1963 as a standard AC electric locomotive of JNR, and although it was a D-type, it demonstrated a traction force comparable to that of an F-type DC electric locomotive, and was used as a regular train from the Blue Train in AC electrified sections in various places.
Among them, 39 1000 series were mass-produced and active as a high-speed type that pulled the 20 series limited express sleeper passenger car and the 10000 series container high-speed freight train mainly on the Tohoku Main Line and Joban Line.

Main features
-A machine belonging to the JNR Aomori locomotive depot in the 1970s, commercializing the 1001 to 1014 units called the early type among the 1000 series
-Wide front step, in-fit tail light, front ventilation port, cut-out letter number
-Reproduce the lively jumper plug around the skirt, which is a feature of the 1000 series. A separate jumper plug (hose) is included.
-Reproduce the wiring on the roof unique to AC electric locomotives. The roof insulator is white.The H rubber of the front window glass/side light window is gray. The front window with defroster (anti-fogging) and the window on the driver's compartment side reproduce the original form.
-The adoption of a slotless motor realizes smoother and quieter running.
-Equipped with Arnold coupler as standard.
