Description

This N gauge coach represents the Ohafu 50 2000 passenger brake/guard coach in post-JR specification. The Ohafu 50 includes a conductor's compartment, making it an important vehicle for short local formations as well as longer 50 Series passenger trains.

The 50 Series coaches were introduced from 1977 to replace older passenger stock. This 2000 series electric-heating version with JR markings is well suited to Tohoku-region local trains from the early JR transition period.
