Description
KATO's LNER Azuma set represents the Class 800/1, a nine-car Hitachi-built Intercity Express Train used on the East Coast Main Line. The prototype replaced older HST workings and is able to operate under overhead electric power or on diesel-electric power away from the wires.
This version is supplied DCC fitted, making it a convenient choice for modellers who want a ready-to-run digital version of the nine-car Azuma. The model uses British N scale at 1:148 and reproduces the LNER red, white and black livery with fine window-band striping and Azuma branding.
