Description
Since the Tokaido Shinkansen opened in 1964, the 0-series Shinkansen continued to be added to the fleet until 1986, with minor changes. The new cars manufactured after 1981 were the final version, the 2000 series, of which a total of 309 cars were manufactured. The 2000 series is a group with expanded seat pitch based on the 1000 series, which has smaller side passenger windows. Even after the transition to JR, all cars were inherited by JR Central/JR West Japan and retired in 2008.
-KATO's long-selling product, the 0-series Shinkansen, will be commercialized as a 4-car set that can be easily enjoyed by beginners and overseas users. Recommended for those who are just starting out with N gauge.
