This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function. For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a seperate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

The Kiha 25 series is a general-purpose diesel railcar from JR Central that debuted in 2010. Its exterior and interior design are based on the 313 Series (4th batch). The 1000 and 1100 series are part of the second batch, which debuted in 2014. These series consist of two-car fixed formations, with the 1000 series featuring a toilet and the 1100 series without. Starting with this group, the bodywork is beadless, and the skirts feature deer collision protection.
This new product is the Kiha 25 series 1000, which serves as the mainstay of passenger transport on JR Central's local lines. This new product employs a slotless motor for power. It also features a different car number than previous models. It can be operated in compact two-car formations, as well as coupled two-car formations, as seen on the actual trains. It is also ideal for operation on small layouts.

Main Features

1. Reproduce the smooth, beadless body, end-mounted exhaust pipes, upper headlights, front design without cab-side displays, and matte-finish stainless steel base.

2. Head/taillights and front display lights (with switch to turn them off). Uses white LEDs.
3. Slotless motor for smooth, quiet running. Demagnetization plate included.

4. All couplings use body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks). Includes a single-stage electric coupler that can be attached to the front coupler of the leading car.

5. Includes destination display stickers featuring priority seating signs and non-slip surfaces on the front of the leading car.

● This product recreates the current appearance of the P103 train set belonging to the Minoota Depot, which operates Kiha 25 Series 1000 (Takayama Main Line and Taita Line). It reproduces the second batch of the long-seat 1000 series for cold regions . It also reproduces the distinctive bodywork, including the deer collision prevention skirt and roof-mounted whistle cover, which are characteristic of the cold-region 1000 series . The front display reads "One-Man Local Takayama." "One-man Local Gifu" and "One-man Local Tajimi" are included as user exchanges.
