The 'Shooting Star' is a special livery wrap on a Kyushu Shinkansen Series 800 which was operated during the 10th anniversary of the Kyushu Shinkansen line opening. This livery entered service on 12th March 2021 and ran until the end of May.

The prototype is the after-event appearance of train U004 set which belongs to the Kyushu General Train Base. Precise reproduction of roof top equipment such as lighting arrestors and antennas.
