Important

This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function.  For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a seperate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.

If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

You may see the item marked in stock on my website, this merely indicates I have pre-ordered sufficient stock to fulfil your order.

Non UK Customers: UK VAT will be automatically deducted from your invoice, you will however be liable for any taxes in your country.

-The C62, which was active in Hokkaido, was equipped with heavy cold- and snow-resistant equipment to suit the harsh winter climate, and was used to pull passenger trains such as the express "Niseko". Among them, the No. 2 unit has a "Swallow Mark" on the deflector (smoke deflector) and is bordered with stainless steel around the deflector, and was affectionately nicknamed "Swallow Angel". On the Hakodate Main Line, commonly known as the "Mountain Line", it was also popular to operate in multiple units with an auxiliary engine attached to the front. The last C62 triple-unit run on September 15, 1971 was the final C62 farewell run, after which C62 No. 2 was preserved in working order at the Kyoto Railway Museum, and C62 No. 3 was scrapped and preserved after being in service until the smokeless version was introduced on September 30, 1973. However, when the line was privatized by JR, it was revived in 1987 and was in service as the "C62 Niseko" until November 1995. It is currently preserved in static form at JR Hokkaido's Naebo Factory Railway Technology Museum.

◆Hokkaido's C62 2/C62 3, which represents the steam locomotive boom of the late 1960s, is back again. You can recreate the famous double-unit run of the express "Niseko" with No. 2 and No. 3.
