●The 24 Series Sleeper Express "Hokutosei" was introduced in 1988 to coincide with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel connecting Honshu and Hokkaido as a sleeper express train running between Ueno and Sapporo. It was well received for its hotel-like service, and at its peak, three round trips were operated.

◆From the passenger cars of the (HO) 24 Series Sleeper Express, a two-car set of the Orone 25 and Orohane 25 has been released, combining individual items for an affordable price. In addition to the "Hokutosei," you can also enjoy the recreation of the "Yumekukan Hokutosei" from the early Heisei period, when the Yumekukan passenger cars were operated in conjunction with the Hokutosei passenger cars.
