Description
KATO has fully commercialized the 12 types of JNR's new passenger cars.
The 12 series passenger car is an express passenger car with a maximum speed of 110 km / h, manufactured from 1969 to 1978. It was equipped with an underfloor diesel generator-powered air conditioner that was comparable to the trains and diesel railcars of the time, and became the basis for the new passenger cars from the 14th series onwards. - Initially, it was operated as a special train and Osaka Expo transportation, and later as a regular express train, and was seen all over the country except Hokkaido. In later years, it was modified into a commuter train and transformed into a joyful train.
Pursuing the difference in form seen in each series, you can enjoy a more realistic 12 series passenger car. Of course, you can recreate the express train of the past by combining it with your own luggage train or the 24 series passenger car, as well as the organization consisting only of the 12 series.
