Among the DD51s that were active all over the country, it is a group of locomotives that can be roughly divided into non-multiplexed types, and because it is not compatible with heavy-duty generalization, it has a clean end beam without jumpers and a front handrail, two unique to early cars. Features include a front inspection door that opens.
Warm terrain is mainly located in Kyushu, and in addition to pulling passenger trains and freight trains, it also led the Blue Trains ``Sakura'', ``Hayabusa'', and ``Akatsuki'' running on the Nagasaki Main Line. In the 1970s, he was transferred to Yonago Ward and continued to work on the Fukuchiyama Line and San'in Main Line, retiring before the division and privatization of JNR.
