Description

This N gauge model represents a rose-pink EF81 from JR West's Fukui Regional Railway Department, Tsuruga Driving Dispatch. The EF81 type worked long-distance AC/DC duties and was closely associated with services along the Sea of Japan route between Osaka and Aomori.

This version is especially suitable for recreating the 24 Series sleeper express Nihonkai / Japan Sea and other passenger trains worked by Tsuruga EF81s. It is also useful as a general AC/DC electric locomotive for Japanese main-line layouts.
