Description
JNR type AC/DC electric locomotive EF81, commercialized in the original general color. Style without JR radio antenna and Joban radio antenna.
With the electrification of the Japan Sea Longitudinal Line between Osaka and Aomori in 1968, this was needed as an AC/DC electric locomotive that can be operated through three types of electrified sections (DC 1500V, AC 20000V 50Hz/60Hz) in the same section. With an output comparable to the EF65, it was active as a towing machine for passengers and cargo in a wide area from Honshu to Kyushu.
- The EF81, which belonged to the Tsuruga driving dispatch, was responsible for pulling passenger trains such as the sleeper limited express [Nihonkai] connecting the Sea of Japan side between Osaka and Aomori.
- It is the best vehicle for the traction machine of the 24 series sleeper limited express [Nihonkai] scheduled to be reproduced at the same time.
- In addition, you can enjoy reproducing various passenger trains that ran on the Japan Sea Longitudinal Line, including the towing of the [Twilight Express].
- A slotless motor is adopted from this product, and the product number, price, and JAN code will be changed accordingly.
