Thank you for your comment - however I must correct you. We do not charge VAT on orders from customers outside the UK - it is automatically removed.

I had a broken coupling on my Kato NGauge Eurostar, between the power car (M1) and the first coach (R1) , so no train. Contacted Train Trax and was informed of the couplings that they had for the Eurostar (which also fit the TGV). Found out that the original coupling Z04-2436, has been replaced by Z04-9863. (If you put the original part number Z04-2436 into the search, the new part number appears).
Whilst the actual coupling has changed (it is now a Scharfenberg connection) , the bit that goes into the models is identical to the original coupling.
With gentle pressure from a small screwdriver, I was able to remove the broken coupling from the M1 coach, while I had the screwdriver holding the gap open, I was able to insert the new coupling with no problem, the same process was repeated on the R1 coach.
Coupling now joins up okay and I have my Eurostar running again.
Thanks to Train Trax.
