●227 series 500 seriesIt began operation in July 2023 as a successor to the JNR-type trains that had been active in the Okayama area until then. The exterior is based on the concept of "colors of abundance and tranquility," which means fertility and gentleness, and is designed to express the rich and mild climate and culture of Okayama and Bingo. The pink color, which symbolizes the areas along the line such as peaches in Okayama, roses in Fukuyama, and cherry blossoms in Onomichi, is used as the symbolic color. It is active in a wide range of areas, including not only the Sanyo Main Line (between Mihara and Himeji) but also the Seto Ohashi Line, Uno Minato Line, and Hakubi Line.
◆A new generation commuter and suburban train that is active in the Okayama area is now available in N gauge. By combining a 3-car set and two 2-car sets, you can recreate a 7-car formation just like the actual train. You can enjoy it together with the 10-1808 115 Series 300 Chugoku Region Color 3-Car Set, the 10-1451/10-1779 381 Series "Yutaka Yakumo", and the 10-1999/2000 273 Series "Yakumo".
