Description
The Hoki 5200 was a 30-ton open hopper wagon built by Hitachi between 1958 and 1961. These privately owned Tosa Lime Industry wagons were used for limestone traffic on the Tosan Main Line, including the Togano to Tanogo section, where trains were hauled by pairs of DF50 locomotives.
This KATO 9-car set recreates the distinctive limestone transport train, including one vehicle with an operating room for the bottom-door equipment. Two 9-car sets can be combined to recreate an 18-car train.
