Important
This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function. For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a seperate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.
Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.
If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.
You may see the item marked in stock on my website, this merely indicates I have pre-ordered sufficient stock to fulfil your order.
Non UK Customers: UK VAT will be automatically deducted from your invoice, you will however be liable for any taxes in your country.

The EF210 300 series is a DC electric locomotive that is active mainly on the Tokaido Main Line and Sanyo Main Line as the main freight transport machine.
Equipped with a large-capacity coupler with a shock absorber, the body length is 400 mm longer than the 100 series, so the shape around the skirt is different, and the yellow belt on the side and the character design of Momotarou are also features.
-EF210 300/3092-1 is a prototype of the machine belonging to the Suita Engine District when it entered the new production in February 2020.
-Reproduces the characteristic front lower part of the body that protrudes forward, steps, and large skirt.
-Vehicle body - Reproduces the rain doi that has been extended to the full length
- Beautifully expresses the yellow band on the side and Momotaro's logo design
- Reproduces the character design of Momotaro drawn on the side and without the JRF mark
- Larger white version The driver's handrail is also reproduced and a power unit with flywheel is used to achieve stable running. Equipped with traction tires, recommended for main-purpose operation with freight cars connected
- Selectable license plate: ``316'', ``317'', ``318'', ``319''
Mark wilkes (verified owner) –
I have several of these, and for the price they are they offer good value for money. As for performance on the rails they give a good account of themselves as they are able to out pull some of my Farish and Dapol models helped in part to traction tyres on 2 wheels.
On the plus side, parts are relatively easy to come by (such as bogies and tyres).
On the downside this model is not dcc capable as it is primarily a Japanese market model and it would seem that the Japanese domestic market has not adopted Dcc yet.
You get 4 different identity plates for the model, EF210.316, 317, 318 & 319. Installing the plates is quite easy, installing the 6 roof mounted details can be a challenge to fit (especially the horns)
Thus aside, once on the track with a rake of wagons in tow it has plenty of power available, with its motor being very responsive. 30% will have you running at a speed comparable to some UK units at full power, yet won't look unrealistic.
Expect to be able to pull 20 coaches behind it with ease.
Will I buy any more of Thus type, VERY VERY LIKELY!
