Description
This N gauge model represents JR Hokkaido C11 171, the steam locomotive used on the seasonal SL Fuyu no Shitsugen / SL Winter Wetlands tourist train between Kushiro and Shibecha on the Senmo Main Line. The real locomotive was once preserved in a park at Shibecha before returning to working order in 1998, and is closely associated with winter steam operation in Hokkaido.
The model captures the locomotive in its post-January 2022 overhaul condition, including the distinctive Hokkaido details that make this version different from a standard C11. It is a useful locomotive for recreating the SL Winter Wetlands train, Hokkaido event trains, or preserved steam operation on a Japanese N gauge layout.

Another excellently performing Japan Outline Steam loco very smooth running and powerful 10 Bogie Coaches are no problem,, Directional Lights fitted. The dummy front coupling is easily substituted woth the included rapido coupling
And the price slightly over £100 in the UK rather puts some of the other N Gauge manufacturers to shame??
