Description
●EF66 27 is the second batch of EF66 0 series, and is the last remaining vehicle among the 0 series inherited from JNR to JR Freight. When it underwent renewal work in September 2006, it was the last renewal machine and was released with the JNR color scheme, and has continued to attract attention since then. It was removed from regular service in March 2022, but is still registered as a vehicle and has not been scrapped.
◆EF66 27, which was active until the end in JNR colors and attracted attention, will be released in N gauge. It is suitable for pulling various freight trains, including the 10-1871 Koki 102 + 103 "Kangaroo Liner SS60" scheduled for release at the same time.
Main Features
① The No. 27 locomotive after its renewal work in September 2006 has been commercialized.
② It reproduces the characteristics of the No. 27 locomotive's second batch and the skirt with the addition of an original air dam pipe, which is a characteristic of freight aircraft.
③ It reproduces the step at the bottom of the car body due to the removal of the side waistboard of the car body during the renewal work, the relocated manufacturing nameplate, and the front decorative band with a different dividing position.
④ It reproduces the roof painted gray over the driver's cab and shoulders, the cooler and GPS antenna installed on the driver's cab, and the train radio antenna installed in a different position from other locomotives.
⑤ It reproduces the silver light rim and the JR mark with the "FREIGHT" logo on the side of the driver's cab.
⑥ Headlights light up (using warm white LED).
