The "Twilight Express" operated by JR West was one of the highest luxury trains in Japan, along with "Cassiopeia", and was also the longest train in Japan, connecting Osaka and Sapporo, about 1,500km. Since its introduction in July 1989, it has ranked at the top of trains that people want to ride, and the highest class "Suite" is a premium ticket that is admired not only by railway fans but also by many people.
EF81 of "Twilight Express" color was towed between Osaka and Aomori.
Main features
- Commercialized special color for sleeper limited express [Twilight Express] with specifications according to EF81 300 (3067-1)
- Reproduce the [Twilight Express] towing machine belonging to JR West Fukui Regional Railway Department Tsuruga driving dispatch (103, 104, 113, 114)
- Two "Twilight Express" head marks are included. Like the actual car, it can be attached to the front and back.
- Realistically reproduced with the insulator and wiring on the roof (metal) unique to the AC/DC motor .
