The Suni 40 is a pallet transport-dedicated luggage car that appeared in 1969-1969. Only the roof and the end face are blue, and 24 pallets can be stored in the aluminum press body. With the abolition of luggage transportation in 1986, all vehicles were scrapped the following year.

Main features

• Although it is Suni 40 and Syu 44 that looks like a freight car at first glance, it is a luggage passenger car for pallets that is built around the luggage train and express "Toriumi" and is active throughout the country.
