Description
The EH200 is a two-body articulated H-class freight DC electric locomotive that was manufactured for the purpose of replacing the aging EF64, which was used on graded line sections such as the Chuo Main Line, Shinonoi Line, and Joetsu Line, as well as eliminating multi-car operation. .
Manufactured since 2001, a total of 25 cars are in operation under the nickname <Blue Thunder>. In recent years, the GPS antenna and JRF mark have been removed, and the appearance has changed.
